1. Overview and legal framework

This Privacy Policy explains how CareerNovara (a trade brand operated by Raj Digital Solutions) collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you visit our website (https://careernovara.com) or use our diagnostic tools, AI-generated roadmaps and mentorship services. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the minimum personal and technical information needed to provide our services:

• Identity and contact details: Your name, email address and mobile number given in forms, contact enquiries or purchase checkouts.
• Assessment data: Your self-assessment answers, capability pillar scores and career growth preferences chosen in our diagnostic tools. We save your FDE check answers and result so you can see them in your Library.
• Transaction data: Payment confirmation details, order reference IDs and GST invoicing details processed through authorised payment service providers. Card details, bank passwords and UPI PINs are handled directly by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways and are never available to us or stored on our servers.
• Analytics and technical data: We use Google Analytics on careernovara.com and app.careernovara.com to count visits and see which pages help. We send it steps such as signing up, signing in and paying, without your name or email. It uses cookies and a random ID, not your name or email. If you visit from India, it runs without a cookie bar. If you visit from another country, it runs only after you tap Accept, and tapping Reject all stops it. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page. We also keep page speed measurements and device access logs. Cookies for sign-in are needed to keep you signed in.

3. AI analysis, voice and your data

When you order the personal AI analysis, you can upload your resume, speak, or type about yourself. Before this happens you must tick a box to agree.

• What we remove first: we take out email addresses, phone numbers and web links from your text, and we never send your name or your email address.
• What is sent to OpenAI: the cleaned text and your 15 quiz answers, so that OpenAI can write your report. OpenAI may use this data to improve its AI models. Because of this, please do not write passwords, bank details, government ID numbers, health details or other private information.
• If you use your voice: your recording is sent to Groq to turn it into text. We do not keep the recording, and we do not keep your resume file.
• What we keep: your finished report, in your Library. The text you gave us is deleted from our database as soon as the report is ready.

The report is for learning and career guidance only. It is not a promise of a job or a salary.

4. Consent and email preferences

In line with the DPDP Act, we keep service emails and promotional emails separate:

• Service emails: When you submit a diagnostic test or buy a digital product, we use your contact details to deliver your results, order receipts and support replies.
• Optional marketing updates: You receive promotional tips, programme updates or offers only if you tick the optional marketing checkbox.

Every marketing email from CareerNovara has an Unsubscribe link, so you can opt out at any time.

Our promotional emails also carry a tiny invisible picture and counted links. They tell us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, so we can see which emails help. This is counted per email, is used only by us, and applies only if you ticked the optional box. Receipts and sign-in emails are not tracked.

5. Authorised infrastructure partners

To run our platform securely, we work with established third-party technical providers:

• Payment service providers: PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways for secure digital checkouts.
• Transactional email services: Secure email infrastructure for delivering results, order receipts and support replies.
• Cloud hosting and content networks: Server infrastructure for serving the website.
• AI providers: OpenAI, which writes the AI analysis, and Groq, which turns voice into text. They only receive data after you agree, as described in section 3.

We do not sell, rent or trade customer data to data brokers or advertising networks.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data and assessment records for as long as reasonably needed to deliver our services, maintain business accounts, resolve technical disputes, meet GST and tax obligations and enforce our agreements. Anonymous diagnostic scores may be kept for overall statistics.

7. Your choices and right to erasure

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to ask for access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or to withdraw your consent.
